At First Presbyterian, we are fortunate to hear the Word preached with intelligence and inspiration. On this site, you can read the text versions of the sermons or listen to an MP3 or Podcast of the sermons. (Audio is available for sermons delivered since July 2007.

From the sermons page you can also access archives of sermon texts from previous years.

Two new features are available.

• You can subscribe to the “FPC Newport - Weekly Sermons” Podcast in the iTunes software. This means you can automatically receive new audio files as soon as the new sermons are available on the site. This also allows you to take the sermons with you if you have an iPod music player.

• You can subscribe to the sermons as an “RSS Feed.” You may have seen this feature on other popular news and sports web sites. This allows you to receive notifications online when new sermons are available. Many portal sites (i.e. MSN, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) provide the ability to subscribe to feeds from multiple sites. This removes the need to go to each site to see if new information is available that you may be interested in.
