Children and Youth Classes
Sunday
school classes are offered for all ages
from September 9, 2007 through June 1, 2008.
Sunday School
On
Sunday, June 1, we will honor our students and teachers and
give thanks to our LORD for allowing us to come to know Him
and experience His love. Our students have addressed truths
that will nourish their faith throughout their lives. 9
a.m. in the sanctuary, reception to follow.
Our preschool and early elementary grades have explored
God’s wonderful world and came to know Jesus as God’s
special Son. Elementary/upper elementary students have
explored the character of Jesus—his compassion, love for us
and his sacrifice. They also examined how we should
celebrate and remember Jesus’ sacrifice in worship and in
our lives. Middle school students have been encouraged to
face their doubts with truths found in God’s Word and to
apply these truths to their lives.
Our high school students have tackled many topics including
God’s will in their lives, such as:
What are some good reasons to seek to follow God’s will in
your life?
What keeps you from doing God’s will in your life right
now?
What things do you need to adjust in your life in order to
do God’s will?
What are your greatest fears about following God’s will?
What excites you most about following God’s will?
They have been challenged to prayerfully examine these
tough issues in ways that many of us adults would benefit.
Our adult classes have addressed specific books of the
Bible, biblical and church history, missions, and Christian
living. We are truly blessed and have much to celebrate! So
please mark your calendar and come rejoice with us June 1.

comprehensive discipleship series in which our youth
explore 24 basic truths of Christianity. This year we will
discuss five questions that Christians of all ages struggle
with. They are presented in an open and safe environment
that encourages in-depth reflection and discussion. Parents
who have questions or would like to review a sample lesson
are welcome to contact the Christian Education Coordinator
